INFORMATION ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

ABOUT US
Alioth S.r.l. (VAT no. 04385170263), headquartered in Castelfranco Veneto (TV), at Via Busa no. 29, Tel. +39 0423 737513, email info@argesystems.com, is the data controller of the data collected and used through the website https://argesystems.com.

Our website may contain links to other pages or third-party online services that are not operated by us and over which we have no control. We therefore invite you to read the privacy notices of these websites when you access them, in order to understand how your data is processed.

WHAT DATA WE PROCESS, WHY, AND FOR HOW LONG

  1. Browsing data
The computer systems that enable this website to function acquire, during their normal operation, certain data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols, such as the IP addresses or domain names of the users’ computers connecting to the site, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the server’s response (successful, error, etc.), and other parameters related to the user’s operating system and IT environment. Such data are necessary for the use of the web service and are used to verify its proper functioning. They will be deleted immediately after processing or, at the latest, within seven days.
  2. Data voluntarily provided when contacting us: if you send an email to the addresses indicated on the website or contact us by phone, we will use your data (name, surname, address, email or phone number, message content) solely to respond to your requests.
The legal basis (i.e., the requirement under the regulations for processing your data) is the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures taken at the request of the data subject. The data will be retained for the time necessary to respond to your request and, in any case, for no longer than six months.
  3. Data voluntarily provided when subscribing to our newsletter: if you wish, you may subscribe to our newsletter, and we will use your email address to send you promotional messages about our products, services, and events, as well as those of our partners. The legal basis for the processing is your consent, which you will provide by clicking on the “SUBSCRIBE” checkbox. The data will be retained for 24 months, unless you withdraw your consent.
  4. Data we use when we need to comply with legal obligations or defend our rights: if necessary, your data may be processed to comply with a legal obligation or an order from an Authority, or to defend or assert our rights (the legal bases are compliance with legal obligations and the legitimate interest of the controller). In this case, the data will be retained for the period required by law or by the authority, or for as long as necessary to assert or defend our rights.

DO YOU HAVE TO PROVIDE YOUR DATA?
Browsing data, as mentioned, are acquired automatically upon access. You are under no obligation, however, to provide your personal data when contacting us. However, if you wish to communicate with us or receive a response to your inquiries, you will need to provide such data. You are under no obligation to subscribe to our newsletter; consent is entirely optional. Otherwise, you will not stay updated on our products, services, or events, nor on those of our partners.

WHO WE SHARE DATA WITH
Data are shared with third-party companies or external consultants that we use to provide services (for example: IT and email service providers, website hosting providers), who process the data on our behalf as Data Processors. Data will be disclosed to other third parties, whether public or private, only if we are required to do so under legal or regulatory obligations.

WHERE YOUR DATA ARE LOCATED
In carrying out our activities, we use providers located outside the European Union or who access data from countries outside the European Union, such as, for example, the email service provider. We inform you that, in such cases, the transfer of data takes place only when the guarantees required by data protection regulations are in place, namely to countries for which an adequacy decision exists or on the basis of the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission. You may request further information about the providers operating abroad by contacting us at info@argesystems.com.

WHAT RIGHTS CAN YOU EXERCISE REGARDING YOUR PERSONAL DATA
You may request, at any time, access to your personal data, rectification in case of errors, deletion of the data in the cases provided for, and, in certain instances, restriction of processing. You may obtain a copy of the data you have provided, in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, when the processing is automated and based on the contract.
You may withdraw your consent to receive the newsletter at any time.

You may also object to the processing of your personal data when it is carried out on the basis of the controller’s legitimate interest, by indicating the reasons justifying your objection.

You may lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei Dati Personali) if you believe your rights have been violated, in accordance with the procedures indicated on the website available at: www.garanteprivacy.it.

If you wish to exercise any of these rights, you can contact us at info@argesystems.com.
